I recently put together Club Seat’s Top 5 Football Movies of All-Time, and I hope you’ve had the chance to check out those you hadn’t seen. Now it’s baseball’s turn. Needless to say, it was difficult to choose only five, but here are Club Seat’s Top 5 Baseball Movies of All-Time, along with some memorable quotes.
5. Bull Durham (1988)
“You just got lesson number one: don’t think, it can only hurt the ballclub.”

4. Major League (1989)
“Juussst a bit outside. Tried the corner and missed.”

3. For Love of the Game (1999)
“You’re perfect. You, and the ball, and the diamond, you’re this perfectly beautiful thing. You can win or lose the game, all by yourself. You don’t need me.”

2. The Natural (1984)
“Pick me out a winner Bobby.”

1. Field of Dreams (1989)
“If you build it, he will come.”

Other greats: 61*, A League of Their Own, Eight Men Out, The Sandlot, The Pride of the Yankees, The Bad News Bears(1976), Bang The Drum Slowly, The Rookie, Rookie of the Year, The Babe, Mickey, Hardball, Mr. 3000.

Look at Kevin Costner doing it big with three movies on the list.
The Sandlot is in my top five, though!
All 5 listed are good. I agree, the Sandlot is in my top 5 too,
True story.. Sandlot and 61* are in my top 5.
The Rookie is in mine
The Sandlot, 61*, and even A League of Their Own could have easily been in the top five. The Rookie was good, but Disney made it, and they made sure everyone knew they made it… too disneyish.. It’s hard narrowing it down to just five, but it’s hard to argue that one of these should not be a top five baseball movie. But, yeah.. Kevin Costner was all over the place with baseball movies, and they were always awesome.
“The Natural” #1… “Eight Men Out” in top 5… “Bad News Bears” top 10.
All in my opinion of course
ive actually been to the field of dreams, its pretty cool. i think costner should be the next manager of the yankees.
hahaha, he’d prolly win a world series.
GREAT JOB…..I LOVE THEM ALL…..
I’ve never seen The Sandlot… always wanted to though.
