IceLast week I wrote the Top 5 Reasons Why The Bucs Will Go Winless, and this is how they repay me.  Talk about a jinx.

The Green Bay Packers just lost to an 0-7 team with a rookie making his first career start.  Aaron Rodgers was sacked six times on the day, which is more than half of the amount that the Bucs had all season.  If that’s not the definition of embarrassment then I don’t know what is.

Hats off to Josh Freeman who’s starting to earn his lofty check ($10.245 million guaranteed to be exact).  Although he only completed 45.2% of his passes, he threw three touchdowns and constantly made plays en route to victory as a 10-point underdog.

Kudos to Raheem Morris as well, who earned his first victory as a head coach.  Now I’m going to go back to wondering how it happened, especially since the creamsicle unis were in effect.

Green Bay — you should be as ashamed as this guy here:

More from week 9:

  • The Titans are 2-0 with Vince Young as the starter.  He’s now 1/1000th closer to fulfilling those absurd statements he made back in August.
  • The Giants were 5-0 when they didn’t play anybody, and they’re now 0-4 when they play somebody.
  • The Bears’ Tommie Harris is kicked out of the Club.

  • The Colts remain unbeaten, and will host the Patriots this week in a Sunday night showdown.
  • Kurt Warner proved that Favre ain’t the only fossil that can still sling it (5 tds).

Happy Monday
