Week 6 Fantasy: In The Club/Out

Last week went  pretty good going 5-3.  Let’s see if we can top that this week.

* Prediction record for season:  25-18

shardIn The Club:

Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall:

Willie Parker is out of the question.  Mendenhall is a tank in that backfield and look for him to have a huge week facing a weak Browns defense.

Projected: 20 car, 98 yds, 2 rec, 12 yds, 1 td

Bengals RB Cedric Benson:

Benson is shutting up all his haters (me included) after his performance last week.  He is emerging as a reliable back this year.  This week he plays Houston who has a terrible run defense in Houston and he should put up some nice numbers.

Projected: 19 car, 78 yds, 2 rec, 15 yds, 1 td

Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew:

The past few weeks have been shaky for him but after his recent outburst about play calling this might change.  I agree, since their best player is only touching the ball 10 times a game these past few weeks Look for him to bounce back against the Rams.

Projected: 17 car, 87 yds, 3 rec, 19 yds, 2 td

TOOut The Club:

Ravens RB Willis McGahee:

He’s been absent in the backfield as of late.  Ray Rice looks like he has solidified the number one role in Baltimore.  Not to mention the Ravens are playing the Vikings this week.

Projected: 6 car, 23 yds, 3 rec, 14 yds, 0 tds

Bills WR Terrell Owens:

All talk and no production.  He might score a touchdown here or there this year, but his big days are over.  This week he’ll be matched up with Darrelle Revis.  Once again look for him to struggle.  BENCH HIM!

Projected: 2 rec, 34 yds, 0 tds

Ravens QB Joe Flacco:

He’s been having a great sophomore season but this week he might struggle.  The Vikings defense has managed to give up only 18 points a game with an NFL best 18 sacks.  Look for Flacco to be held in check this week.

Projected: 20/30, 202 yds, 1 td, 1 int

Sleepers

Broncos RB Knownshon Moreno:

This guy has been a stud lately, just like the whole Denver organization.  He had his first game last week were he carried a full load and tallied up 124 on the ground.  Look for him to continue this against San Diego’s weak run D.

Seahawks WR Nate Burleson:

Now that Hasselbeck is back he receives a big boost.  He is also second in the league in targets.  Burleson should have a huge game against the Cardinals this week who rank at the bottom in pass defense.

Projected: 7 rec, 92 yds, 1 td
