BET and Michael Vick have agreed to do a reality show on Vick’s life after prison called, The Michael Vick Project. Vick told the LA Times Blog:
“I just want people to really get to know me as an individual. What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I’ve made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it had never happened. But it’s not about how you fall, but about how you pick yourself up.”
I am all for second chances, but I feel like a reality show is a step in the wrong direction. Vick should really be focusing on spending time with his family and playing football.
The spotlight is not the place to be for a heavily scrutinized guy like Vick. I hope it works out for him, but I don’t see how much good can come from it. I’m sure he will get paid well for it and that they will make him look like an angel on the show, but this isn’t the time. I guess now that it’s officially going to happen, all we can do is hope it turns out better than the overly scripted and fake “T.O. Show.”
And for the record, I hope Vick completes his comeback and finds an NFL team that will give him his chance to start again.
Vick, I know what your trying to do… I understand it. But for your sake, stay out of the spotlight for a while.
Na, get your cake up Vick. Do it big
He needs something to wrok for him. I mean this whole 12 plays a game in Philly sucks dick and he needs to be on a team where he could actually play.
Maybe Michael and Rush can team up on BET and do a reality show together? Michael is trying to win over the hearts and minds of people who dislike those who pull out the gillards of dags while they are still alive and Rush is trying to win over the hearts and minds of the anti-racist Black people. This could be a real study in contrasts as each work towards their common objective of winning a membership pass into Club NFeLon. However, the NFeLon already has is fair share of criminals so that conrner of the market might be full up.
Haha, that would be an interesting show, except Limbaugh has no business associating with a black QB from Philadelphia. Also I doubt he even knows what BET is. Vick needs to stay away from Limbaugh too. If you get two years for beating dogs, he’ll probably get life for beating a rich, fat white guy from the Republican Party. It’s a good thing Limbaugh got cut from the group trying to buy the Rams, because the NFL would have gotten a LOT more controversial had he been allowed in.
