I often thank god for people like Dre’ Bly. Without dumb moments like the one he provided for us Sunday against the Falcons, I know my life just wouldn’t be as fulfilling. For those wondering how the hell Owen Schmitt didn’t win the award for Idiot of The Week, his stupidity didn’t take place during the game like this one did.
There’s probably like 15 things wrong with this play, but let’s just point out a few:
- Dre, you started holding the ball with one hand right after you caught it like you were all alone and didn’t have Roddy White chasing you (who burned you all day for 210 yards and 2 td’s).
- Next, you start your premature celebration… 70 yards premature to be exact, as if you were walking into the end zone and not on your own 30-yard line.
- Finally, YOUR TEAM IS LOSING 35-10 AT THIS POINT. You have NO reason to even be celebrating in the first place.
Selfish…like Donnie Avery doing the stanky leg after his TD this Sunday.
