Before Sunday’s game between Seattle and Jacksonville, Seahawks’ FB Owen Schmitt did his best Gus Frerotte impression. Schmitt went straight Conan on his dome by bashing himself with his helmet, causing a bloody display. Homeboy is nuts. However, I think the Mohawk easily justifies the behavior.
Here is Frerotte’s infamous display on Sunday Night Football no less. He sprained his neck with this, uh, celebratory headbutt back when he played for the Redskins. Is it sad to say that this was probably the highlight of his career?
