In The Club:
Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger:
Ben is playing a week Detroit pass defense in week 5. Seeing that they have given up 12 touchdowns in the air, he is a must start this week unless you have a Peyton Manning on your team. Through week 4 Big Ben has thrown 30+ times in each game.
Projected: 24/35 289 yds, 2 tds, 0 ints
Eagles TE Brent Celek:
Where the hell did this guy come from? He is averaging 7 catches a game through the first four weeks this season at the TE spot which is just nuts. Look for this to continue against the Bucs in week 5, with Celek finding the end zone once again.
Projected: 5 rec, 78 yds, 1 td
Steelers WR Hines Ward:
The Steelers are literally stealing the show this week. Hines Ward has been putting up very respectable numbers this season minus the fact of that goose egg he has in the touchdown column. Look for that to change this weekend.
Projected: 7 rec, 95 yds, 1 td
Out The Club:
Rams RB Steven Jackson:
He has been stud this season in the yards department. In his last 6 games he has had four 100 yard games. This year he has struggled to find the end zone, though, and this will continue this week against the Vikings. That front four is just dominating opposing lineman and they haven’t given up a rushing touchdown this year.
Projected: 19 car, 63 yds, 2 rec, 12 yds, 0 tds
Texans RB Steve Slaton:
Can you say sophomore slump? Slaton is only averaging a measly 48 yards a game and has found the end zone only once on the ground this season. They are facing the Cardinals this week who are ranked 6th in the run department, not to mention they have only given up 1 rushing touchdown this year, and are also coming off of a bye.
Projected: 16 car, 54 yds, 3 rec, 18 yds, 0 tds
Lions RB Kevin Smith:
Over the past few weeks he has been racking up the touchdowns. Look for this to end in week 5 against the Steelers. They haven’t given up more than 70 yards on the ground in a game this year and Detroit doesn’t really have a potent offense.
Projected: 13 car, 31 yds, 2 rec, 15 yds, 0 tds
Sleepers:
Jaguars WR Mike Sims-Walker:
Sims- Walker is emerging as a nice little sleeper in all leagues. David Garrard seems to really like this guy. In 4 games Sims-Walker (I just love saying this name by the way) is averaging almost 5 catches a game and a little under a touchdown. He has a decent matchup this week in Seattle and he is a nice FLEX start.
Projected: 5 rec, 64 yds, 1 td
Browns RB Jerome Harrison:
Nice little running back plug in if you have bye weeks. Cleveland is playing a weak Bills’ defense and he should be able to tally up some yards like he did last week against an emerging defense in Cincinnati. Not to mention he can catch some balls out of the backfield.
Projected: 23 car, 89 yds, 4 rec, 24 yds, 1 td
Well I guess I am benching B Roth..since I have Peyton
Your just so special William.
Bill how about your boy SIms-Walker !!!
