Rapper DMX Cagefighting? You Can’t Be Serious

dmx-jailWhat is it with people thinking they can do MMA?  First it was Jose Canseco, and now rapper DMX wants to give it a shot.  He’s scheduled for a cage fight against Eric Martinez in Alabama on December 12.

Some reports say that DMX hasn’t even trained for this fight.  I guess he thinks he’ll be alright just bringing his natural talent into the ring.  Canseco lasted a whole 1 minute and 17 seconds into the first round of his fight, so maybe DMX can top that.

All I can say is that he’s probably going to end up looking like this picture of himself to the right.  Hopefully he’ll come out to his own song for added laughter, though.

    I heard it was a mixed martial arts fight.. He is fighting in the cage and usually that contains MMA type fighting. Notice i didn’t say UFC because that is obviously a different realm. I mean the main event is Butterbean and Tank Abbott (who are fighting MMA, not Boxing). Though they have a boxing background it is listed as an MMA fight.

    That’s dangerous! MMA is a serious sport and the type to be taken lightly.
