In The Club:
Bears RB Matt Forte vs. Seahawks:
The Bears run game has struggled to start the season due to their first two tough matchups. Look for Forte to have his first good game of the season in week 3. The Seahawks have given up two rushing touchdowns and 336 yards this season.
Projected: 21 car 101 yds, 3 rec, 16 yds, 1 td
Redskins RB Clinton Portis vs. Lions:
Portis disappointed last week but he has a favorable opponent coming up. The Lions have struggled at stopping the run the last two weeks as they have given up 267 yards. Portis should finally break out of his slow start and find the end zone this week.
Projected: 22 car 83 yds, 3 rec, 17 yds, 1 td
Jets QB Mark Sanchez vs. Titans:
Sanchez has looked great to start his rookie season. The Titans have the worst pass defense through the first two weeks by giving up 5 tds and nearly 700 yards. Their run defense has been the opposite, only letting up 99 yards this season. With this said, look for Sanchez to be throwing the ball a lot this Sunday en route to putting up his best game yet in his rookie campaign.
Projected: 24/35, 278 yds, 2 tds, 1 int
Out The Club:
Titans RB Chris Johnson vs. Jets:
Johnson is playing a Jets defense that has been dominating as of late. Offenses like the Patriots and Texans have been held in check. Look for CJ to struggle this week as the Jets haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown this year.
Projected: 16 car 58 yds, 4 rec, 21 yds, 0 td
Bengals RB Cedric Benson vs. Steelers:
Benson has been one of the great surprises at the running back spot this season with 4.3 yards per carry on 50 attempts, and one score. The Steeler defense has only gave up a total of 129 yards on the ground to opposing offenses, though. Look for a better option this week.
Projected: 21 car, 61 yds, 2 rec, 9 yds, 0 td
Jets RB Thomas Jones vs. Titans:
As I mentioned previously, Jones is facing a very stingy run defense in the Titans. This looks to be a very tough matchup for the Jets run game so I suggest looking for an alternative.
Projected: 15 car, 43 yds, 3 rec, 25 yds, 0 tds
Sleepers:
Cowboys RB Felix Jones vs. Panthers:
Look for Felix Jones to get a lot more touches in week three due to Marion Barber’s quad. He says don’t rule him out for the game but regardless I think Dallas will limit his touches. The Cowboys are playing a team who has given up 336 yards on the ground two touchdowns this season. So look for Felix to be a low end RB/2 or Flex start this week.
Projected: 16 car, 76 yds, 2 rec, 14 yds, 1 td
Vikings WR Percy Harvin vs. 49ers:
I told you guys it was time to jump on the Harvin train. He has racked up two touchdowns in two games and seems to have a little connection with Favre. The Vikings play a weak pass defense this week in San Francisco. Though they have a very strong run defense who hasn’t let a rusher run for over 50 yards in the first two games, look for the Vikings to finally let Favre air it out and connect with his rookie receiver.
Projected: 5 rec, 76 yds, 1 td

I don’t like Sanchez this week. Yes the Titans have been giving it up through the air, but this is still a rookie QB verse a veteran defense that is 0-2 and looking to come out hot.
I’ll tell you one thing..Rex Ryan and the Jets are legit.
Let’s go J-E-T-S!
CJ better be out the club so I can whoop up on Zack and stay undefeated in the HrenFL!! =)
Plus look out for LeSean McCoy to be in the club, especially if Westbrook doesn’t play.
Westbrooks playing though. And I think Rex Ryan is pretty awesome, I said all offseason after they signed him that this team and defense was going to be very improved, however, i have to agree with Luca that Sanchez is not a good start this week. As much as I thought the Titans were over playing last year, they are deffinetly better then an 0-3 team this year, but the Jets are hot so we will see.
They said that Westbrook will be very limited, and against KC it makes sense.
PS- John Clayton reports Westbrook will not play, however, it’s not offical. Mr. Clayton knows his stuff though.
FYI: Percy Harvin with Headaches the past two days. Mark Sanchez with knee tendonitis but says he is still playing.
Check on them the rest of the week till game day to see if they are a go (they are both listed as probable)
