The Bengals number one wide receiver formally known as Chad Johnson legally changed his name to what he thought was Chad Ocho Cinco, which is spanish for the numbers 8 & 5 (his jersey number). He wants his new name to be displayed on his jersey and the NFL has approved. However, there is a bit of a catch.
They will only allow what was printed on his legal name change document to be stitched on his jersey. The not too bright Mr. 85 wrote Chad “Ochocinco.” He forgot to put a space in the middle of his last name. So, while he is still Ochocinco, he’s not “Ocho Cinco”, which is what he originally wanted.
All in all, if he plays like he did last year, I don’t think any fan will be calling him anything other than “Boooo!” With QB Carson Palmer back, Housh out of the picture, and veteran Laveranues Coles as the number two wideout, I think Chad “Whateveryouwannacallhim”has a great shot at a bounce back year.
lol That man is something else.
He is an idiot, what if he gets traded to a team that has the number 85 taken? Then what? He’s stuck with a dumbass last name while hes wearing number 80 or somethin. He’s setting himself up for ESPN to make a mockery of him daily.
