MannyAs much as the baseball world hates Jose Canseco, he has been right about pretty much everyone he accused of taking steroids or other performance enhancing drugs (Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, and Alex Rodriguez to name a few). Canseco is now accusing Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez.

Canseco believes that Manny’s name is on the list of 103 active players to have failed the drug test in 2003, the same test A-Rod failed. Canseco was at USC making a public appearance when he accused Man-Ram. He told the audience that the fact that Manny was trying to get a team to give him a long term 4 year contract was a clue that he’s been using steroids, as he says Manny is smart enough to know his body will start to wear down. If Jose Canseco’s accusations are correct, then it would be yet another big hit to America’s favorite past time.

If Manny is guilty too I think my heart would break.

I will cry if this is true. They might as well stop playing baseball for like 10 years to clean this shit up.

Reports say that when Manny was asked about this accusation all his said with a laugh was, “I got no comment, nothing to say about that. What can I say? I don’t even know the guy.”
I’m really hoping that this was just Canseco guessing and being a jerk and that he doesn’t say he is absolutely sure he did, because if he does say he’s sure Manny took them, then history shows Canseco is probably not lying.

Why is it that J.C. Romero gets to be “made an example” – when he was out in the open about what he did, asking politely if it was a banned substance or not – while all these guys are getting off scot-free?

i heard canseco had no proof and just assumed manny took them because he wanted a long-term deal with the sox. Canseco said that Manny knows hes getting older and his body would begin to break down unless hes using performance enhancing drugs. Thats just what i heard though im not stating facts.

That’s what it looks like, but the only thing that stumps me is that why would Canseco risk his “word” or whatever on a hunch that Manny took them..? He has been right so many times now that I think it was dumb of him to just throw a name out there that he had no evidence on, which is actually what I believe happened.

Canseco needs to get his sorry washed up ass and move on with his life. I have talked to people in the minors and they are all on the juice..who cares. Canseco even said he had no proof that he was but just assumed. Why even bring something up like that when there is no proof? Shit i hit a bomb a few weeks ago and im kinda worried that Canseco might even call me out on espn

Canseco know’s all. 4 weeks later Manny is suspended 50 games. MLB should just make him commissioner.
